Sova Suite · The flagship · Early access, waitlist open
The crew member single pilots never had.
In a two-pilot cockpit, the crew cross-check each other. One flies, one verifies: the actions, the instruments, the calculations, so a mistake is caught before it becomes an error. Single-pilot general aviation has never had that. Sova Suite is the AI version of that crew member: a portable, advisory copilot that sees your panel, hears the radio, and checks your work in real time. On the iPad you already fly with, paired with a lightweight Sova sensor. Set up in minutes, in any aircraft. Nothing installed. Not certified equipment, and not designed to be. The pilot in command, still in command.

How it perceives
Sees the panel
The Sova sensor reads the primary flight instruments externally, steam gauges or glass, so nothing touches your avionics.
Hears the radio
Receive-only audio captures ATC and intercom. Sova never transmits.
Knows where you are
Portable ADS-B traffic, GPS and motion data round out the picture.
What it does in flight
The cross-check, in real time.
Cross-checking is the crew procedure that catches mistakes before they become errors. Sova runs it continuously on three things: what you did, what the instruments show, and what the numbers say.
Cross-checks your actions
What you did against what the phase and the clearance call for: the altitude you leveled at, the heading you rolled out on, the frequency you switched to, the checklist item you skipped, the readback that did not match the instruction. Caught and called, briefly, before it costs you.
Cross-checks your instruments
Reads the six-pack through the sensor, then checks what it sees against GPS, gyro, accelerometer and ADS-B: GPS against baro, heading against magnetic, source against source. When they disagree, it tells you. When it cannot read an instrument with confidence, it says so rather than guessing.
Cross-checks your calculations
Fuel remaining against the plan and the burn rate, range against the distance left, the descent and the numbers you are flying to. Sova shows its working and names its source, so you can verify it the way you would a copilot's math.
Catches the deviation early
Altitude off the assigned, heading drift, airspeed creeping toward VNE or the stall, an unusual attitude, an engine exceedance, a fuel trend or imbalance. A short cue with the correction, and confirmation when you have closed it: “Altitude deviation. Assigned three-seven-thousand, current three-six-eight-hundred. Climb to three-seven-thousand.”
Keeps you on the clearance
Transcribes ATC and pulls out the clearance, heading, altitude, frequency and squawk. Highlights your callsign, flags a call you missed or never acknowledged, and checks assigned against actual. Every transmission lands in a time-stamped comms log, so a missed call is recoverable, not gone.
Watches fuel and route
Fuel range from your fuel entry and your aircraft's burn rate, waypoints and headings in view, weather along the active route watched continuously. Sova cues you before conditions shift and recommends a reroute or the nearest suitable alternate as a recommendation, never a command. It tells you which fuel source it is relying on.
Runs the right checklist
Normal, abnormal or emergency, opened and read by voice, items marked as you go, skipped items called out. When Sova detects an anomaly it brings up the relevant checklist on its own. Checklists are sourced from your aircraft's POH or AFM, versioned and dated, and flagged if unverified.
Emergency mode
Declare it by voice (“Sova, declare emergency”) or one tap. Or Sova suspects it first, from engine-failure indications, stall or VNE proximity, rapid altitude loss, a loss-of-control attitude or fuel-exhaustion risk, and asks you to confirm. Then the emergency checklist and the nearest suitable landing options come up, everything nonessential goes quiet, and every advisory stays exactly that.
Traffic, weather and the books
ADS-B traffic and weather, METARs, TAFs and radar on the route, and your POH, AFM and the FAA handbooks searchable and read aloud.
Speaks when it matters
Phase-aware and sterile-cockpit aware, brief by default, and adjustable by category so you decide how much it says. Ask it anything in flight, with the cockpit as context, and hear the answer in your headset.
For the airplane you already own.
Sova Suite is built first for owner-operators of legacy general aviation aircraft: the Cessnas, Pipers and Beechcraft flying steam gauges or partial retrofits, where a panel upgrade costs more than the airplane is worth and a second pilot is rarely in the right seat. The sensor reads what you already have.
Training intelligence in the air.
For flight schools running Sova Ground, Sova Suite extends the same instructor-supervised loop into dual training flights: in-flight monitoring and logging that turns every lesson into a structured performance record, flight-acumen dashboards so instructors and students can track airmanship flight over flight, and scenario and maneuver reenactment that rebuilds difficult moments from the air in the simulator, at simulator cost. No aircraft modification; the instructor in full command.
See Sova Ground →The AI in Sova stands for Advisory Intelligence. It informs. You decide.
01
Advisory-only.
Sova never controls the aircraft and never replaces pilot judgment. It surfaces what it perceives; the pilot decides what to do.
02
Not required equipment.
Sova runs on the device you already carry. Nothing is installed in the aircraft and no avionics are modified.
03
Pilot in command.
Every advisory is something a pilot can verify and choose to act on. The pilot in command remains solely responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft.
04
Simulator coaching stays in the simulator.
Sova Ground's real-time guidance operates only in training devices, never in an aircraft, and the instructor approves every recommendation before it reaches a student's record.
05
Portable and non-required.
Sova Suite is a portable, non-required, advisory system hosted on the pilot's EFB. It has no avionics integration and requires no aircraft modification.
06
Not an autopilot.
Sova Suite is not an autopilot, not primary flight instrumentation and not certified avionics; it is not a sole reference for navigation or for flight in IMC.
