Source-grounded instruction aligned to FAA materials, the ACS and your syllabus. Worked examples, guided practice, spaced review of weak topics, with an internal source trace behind every answer.
ACS and AKTR remediation
Knowledge-test deficiency codes become targeted lessons, quizzes and oral prompts, then an instructor review packet. Endorsement notes are drafted for the CFI, never issued by Sova.
Prebriefs before every lesson
A five-to-ten-minute prebrief tied to the next lesson objective, aircraft and weak areas. The CFI sees who did the work before the student walks in.
Structured debriefs
Student self-assessment against the instructor's notes, a discrepancy analysis, and a remediation plan the CFI accepts, edits or rejects. Every debrief updates the student's mastery picture.
Real-time simulator coaching
Connected to X-Plane or MSFS, Sova watches live aircraft state, measures performance against task tolerances, and coaches at the level the instructor sets: full prompting, hints only, or silent record-only. Traffic pattern, steep turns, slow flight, power-off stalls and engine failure after takeoff first.
Instructor and school dashboards
Today's students and their readiness, ACS heatmaps, assignments and lesson packets for the CFI; cohort progress, repeat-lesson trends and at-risk flags for the chief instructor. Records that separate AI drafts from instructor approvals, exportable as PDF and CSV.

A student practicing power-off stalls is flying the airplane outside normal parameters on purpose. A system that treats every intentional deviation as an anomaly gets switched off in a week. Sova Ground is built around a maneuver catalog for the private-pilot syllabus: what each maneuver is, how it is recognized from aircraft state, what tolerances apply, and when the system should speak, record silently, or stay out of the way entirely. The instructor sets the level. The student learns to fly, not to follow prompts.

Sova Ground has no actual-aircraft mode. Real-time guidance operates only in simulators and training devices and is disabled outside a recognized simulator session.

Sova issues no endorsements, solo or checkride approvals, and does not claim FAA-approved training credit for simulator or ground work unless your school, device and syllabus separately provide it.

Sova never controls the aircraft and never replaces pilot judgment. It surfaces what it perceives; the pilot decides what to do.
